Rishikesh
Very hot day (the lovely breeze went somewhere else ;) Nonetheless, this place is a Cure for an aching soul.
Sinus cleansing today was more sophisticated:
After the nasal wash using a Neti pot with lukewarm salty water, I introduced a surgical catheter into my left nostril (the wide one) and then pushed it until it went out thru the mouth… not fun… I sneezed, coughed, vomited… but on the second try I made it! Disgusting. I refused to do it on my right nostril (the narrow one)… but it was too late: my mindbody didn't like it either… and counterattacked! I had some sinus headache and the worst congestion since I arrived; I even had to leave the Asana class. So I decided: tomorrow I'll do it again ):)
After a cooling few minutes in the Ganges, we had lunch and then I napped a bit before our Indian cooking class
(The ingredients of the wonderful Ginger Tea: a stone to grind fresh ginger on the table, then put it on a pan with water until it boils; before boiling, squeeze a lime. As soon as it boils… Voila!)
