Laundry: hostel style on a rainy day ;)

We started the day walking to the famous Opera House

check out these crazy tiles!!!
And then strolled thru the Royal Botanical Garden, from where we got these great pix of the Opera house and the … Bridge

(On the "mobile version" of the blog we look tall and stylized, while on the "PC version" we look fat and short… reality is elsewhere! :P)

The Botanical Garden is beautiful! Here are snapshots of our walk:

Yes! Step on the grass!!!

…but not into the tree!

Tree huggers gone wild

Love the relationship between the eels & birds

"PUT A LID ON IT"

Love the monkeys and the theme of the PUB
(but notice the two cameras at
 the entrance? :)

Hungry Jack's...because it can't be named Burger King
(and here we thought they no longer had allegiances to the British royal family)

Funky water refill station

Oscar's favorite sculpture in the Botanic Gardens

After relaxed hours walking, getting coffee, ice cream and snacking (life is good!) let's go back to my pondering last night… If you're reading this blog, I presume you know me and Basia well enough to know what happened next; if not… I went to the concert and Basia took it easy.

It wasn't difficult to get a ticket, although the price was high (regular price was high! Never paid so much for a concert of these guys). There was a good opener (Brody Dalle; her voice sounds at times like a female Kurt Cobain and the music was OK).

Below are the setlists:
1) Queens Of The Stone Age (QOTSA)

2) Nine Inch Nails (NIN)

QOTSA's show was excellent (maybe their best I've seen); NIN's was pretty good, but not their best I've seen… and Trent didn't play Perfect Drug, or Burn… not even Closer! But he played with his lovely wife two songs of their band (How To Destroy Angels). Damn! I forgive you, Trent!
