Oceania
Australia
Melbourne
Sadly our beloved friend Wendy couldn't make it from Adelaide… but we overcame the sadness and went for breakfast at Ocean Cafe (right on the ocean!): toasted bananabread with marscapone, honey & fresh berries (another scrumptious discovery)
Breathtaking coastal panoramas!
Then we headed for Healesville sanctuary:
There we saw a bunch of local animals… of some we have no pictures (cassowaries, emus, echidnas, dingoes, and wombats) while for others we do have pictures:
Long-neck turtle
koala
platypus
Tasmanian devil
(Below is an infograph of a devastating and very rare cancer that has practically decimated their wild population in a few years)
(Don't eat her, devil!)
wallaby
kangaroo
WIPE FOR WILDLIFE "encourages the community to help save local wildlife by making the SWITCH TO RECYCLED TOILET PAPER."
… and with that "crappy picture" we finish today's adventures! :)
