Melbourne
We started the day… with breakfast ;) and then rushed to the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV)… that wasn't opened yet. So we backtracked to the Arts Center of Melbourne and saw "The Beatles In Australia Exhibition"

… and then, when it was opened, we returned to the National Gallery of Victoria!
Poetry = Painting With Sound
Below is a composition inspired by the Bamboo, my favorite symbol of the Vegetal Kingdom
An Embroidery Of Voids
We loved this video installation. We also loved the description for adults AND another one for kids! (I kinda liked more the one for kids :P). Perfectly matched ambient music, too. If you can find this whole video online, let me know!
Afterwards we walked to the Melbourne Museum
There we saw a few interesting expositions, like an indoors forest
But by far the most impressive was: the First Peoples
Below are descrptions of Australia Aboriginal's Creation Myths:
The most striking (images do not reflect how impressive is this moving art installation) was this representation of the Dreamtime Creation Myth
Today's song was chosen to highlight an Aussie band whose leader has been very active defending the rights of the aboriginals. As "Beds Are Burning" goes:
"…the time has come
a fact's a fact
it belongs to them
we're gonna give it back"
Below there is a Message (Traveler) Stick: they were given as a safe pass from the lands of one tribe to go to another (like our Visas). White Men were given "visa" in the same way, but White Men didn't understand that the visa expires and he had to leave… He never left…
…and he brought a terrible disease that wiped out First Peoples… and with this red-blood sign we finish this educating day.
